No, Computer space was four boards of 7400 series logic (for the one-player
version). They didn't even have ROMs back then, they used multiplexers,
demultiplexers, and a LOT of diodes to generate the saucer and ship. Know this
because I used to work on them.

If you ever get a chance to go to Videotopia ask to take a look inside one. Even
the monitor was a modified TUBE type TV set.
