VECTOR: Replacing the G05 HV Diode

Does anyone know if there is a writeup somewhere on the proper way to
replace the HV diode in a B&W vector monior? I know it's been discussed
here a few times, but I was just wondering if someone has taken the time to
pull all of that info together in one place.
