VECTOR: Pokey Eliminator differences?

I'm curious.

I have two different Pokey Eliminator boards - one marked "Major Havoc
copyright 1984" which fits on the MH boardset, and then I have another,
which has a different, smaller board layout and has no game name, but is
marked 1983.

Any reason Atari "revised" the Pokey Eliminator board, and why they made
it bigger?
