Because hardware was one of the first things designed for a game, it was common practice
to make the input section as versatile as possible so that future changes could be done
without re-screening the PCB. Major Havoc also has invert controls to the CPU but alas, no
cocktail software was ever written for it. Toobin' has the PCB layout for a possible
trackball control, but in the end they didn't even stuff it and used the button interface
instead.
