This "other guy" may just be a collector who can be talked into letting
MK make copies of the tapes (at least). If you offer to make a good
high quality set of VHS or digital copies for this guy [as well as us
:-)] and give him back the originals, how can he refuse? The key will
be getting in touch with him, assuming the operator has his phone
number, etc.
