This could be chip-sockets.

BUT: PLEASE DONT USE CRAP LIKE ATARI DID!

GET SOME DECENT TURNED-PIN TYPES FROM SOMEONE LIKE AUGAT.

You may not get a second chance to replace them,atari pcb's lift there tracks easily.
also be carefull with the i.c.'s I have removed chips from sockets only to watch 1 pin fall-off!!!

this problem seems to afect chips from texas-instruments from 1977-early-80's.
