As far as I can imagine it must be somewhere in the BIP adjustment. Do these
pots have any effect when you rotate the settings? Also have I seen many times
that the wires of the pot's broke off (hard to see untill you wiggle the pots a
bit). I would take some time to verify that all components related to the BIP
adjustment (including traces on the PCB) are okay.
Can you post a link to a pic of the terst screen with the lage '+' sign in it?
This should tell you if it is the X or Y BIP, ot both, which are at fault.
