A buddy of mine was given an Asteroids cocktail, he brought it over
for me to look at and after I repaired the logic PCB (replaced sheared xtal,
X/Y pot's, and a cap) and re-flowing P500/600/700/701 in the monitor, all
was fine. It stayed in the back of his van for a few (cold) days until he
could get
it in the house and now it doesn't work. I took his PCB and placed it in my
cocktail and the only thing that works is the self test. I get the cross
hatch
pattern and tones when I press the control panel buttons. As soon as I flip
over to game play I get nothing just the beam in the center of the scope and
toggling of pin 40 (watchdog) on the CPU. Any ideas ?
