Gang,
Sorry if this is a repost, but I am trying to sort out why I can't seem to
post to the list.
I replaced the tube in the Space Wars and go a nice bright picture. It was
fine for an hour testing and then last night when someone comes over to play
after five minutes the screen goes to max brightness and I can see the Z lines.
Any idea where to look - this is the first time I've seen a Cinematronics. I'm
assuming the problem is on the monitor board.
Oh... an interesting thing I noticed yesterday when testing was the when the
ship turned, it was never redrawn perfectly. The ship was fine facing 90
degress angles, but the lines crossed a little when at an odd angle. Not bad
but not perfect. I assumed that it was just because it was an early game and
not perfect at drawing the vectors. Maybe that was a warning of what was to come.
