Getting down to 20Hz is tough! From my speaker building days, does a
cabinet have enough volume to resonate down to that frequency? My gut
(based on intuition and math I haven't used since we were actually playing
these games in the arcade circa 1983) is that a cabinet can get you to
~25Hz.
Now if you connect the cabinet to an in-ceiling/floor woofer, now you're
talking serious rumble, esp. with the very cool analog sound sections on
Asteroids and the Cinematronics games (ob. vector reference)
Regardless, the family/neighbors will not be happy ;-)
