VECTOR: Amplifone tube and deflection yoke question

I found out that both the Amplifone and the electrohome GO7 CBO us the
same tube.
The 19VJTP22. The question is would a deflection yoke from a GO7 work
attached to an XY deflection board?. Is there a major difference between
raster deflection yokes and XY deflection yokes? Can one function as the
other?
