Spotkill LED is illuminated (It seems the LED was broken). Now
what?

I've been pouring through the archives and haven't found the answer- so
here goes.
1979 Asteroids upright. Powers on, all lights work, buttons respond
properly, but no video- well make that one fine dot in the center of the
display. The dot changes size with the focus controls. Any ideas
where I should start looking- oh yeah the Spotkill LED is not illuminated.
