Well,
I have had great success using the tube from a Wells Gardner K4600 (the one
with the stand up boards). It is virtually the same tube as the Ampliphone.
It converges easily with the xy hardware. Just mark the magnet ring's
position very carefully with a permanent marker, then reuse it with the vector
yoke. The easiest way to get around the different tube socket is to replace
the xy one with the one off the neckboard of the k4600.
