RAM Cross Reference Info Needed

Does anyone out there no which RAM chips are pin compatible with each other? I'm working on three boards and some have 2114's and another has 8124's, so I'm wondering if someone has inadvertently put in the wrong RAM or if these two are compatible and if they are what others would be compatible with them as well????
