(Too bad synthesizable CPU cores are so expensive. "Easily" probably
isn't the word I'd have used, but I see your point. ;-)

Of course, a PC running MAME with a Vector-video card almost meets the
above spec. ;-)

(The above comment was about 50% serious... MAME still doesn't quite cut
it for me-- having been spoiled with the "real" hardware, I doubt
anything but a real machine is close enough for my tastes. But MAME
does beat the hell out of burning EPROMs for development!)
