Replacement B&W vector high voltage supplies CHEAP!

I've been trying to design a replacement B&W vector high
voltage supply,
but a far better deal has surfaced on the surplus market.

Fair Radio Sales has a website
at http://www.fairradio.com/powers.html
where you'll find this:

HV DC to DC CONVERTER p/o CRT HV module;
input 5-15 VDC 100 ma; output 4.5 to 13.5 KV.
Also 135-402 V & 70-90 VDC. Potted; PTK mfg.
Use in experiments or in "bug zapper".
3.2x4.2x1.4, 3 lbs. #ULC-14-07C, NEW, $12.95

That would tend to mean to me that you provide 15
volts DC and in return get 13,500 volts for the CRT,
400 volts for the grid 2 supply, and 90 volts for the
video drive circuit. Very close to being right. I would
suggest a separate 15 volt power source, possibly a
wall wart.

But how far wrong can you go for $12.95?
