Has anyone else had problems with the fishhooked 1N754A
and 1N756A diodes that you put from the X ad Y inputs to GND as
a part of the Atari sanctioned Amplifone deflection board upgrade?
I'm blowing fuses whenever I connect either of the 2 fishhooked
diodes (I'm sure I'm connecting everything right.) One other thing
that makes me suspicious (sp?) is that I have a few Amplifone deflection
boards with all the other parts of the upgrade (1N4002s across the
deflection transistors, etc) but no fishhooked zener diodes.
Has anyone else either had problems doing this, or done it
successfully?
