I just had to center the monitor in my Asteroids...the proceedure it suggested
which worked great was:

1) Turn the brightness on the monitor all the way down
2) Turn off power, disconnect the yoke from the deflection board
3) Disconnect the X/Y signal plug from the deflection board
4) In a mostly dark room, turn the power on and wait about 30 seconds for
   the monitor to warm up
5) SLOWLY turn the brightness up until a small dot appears
6) Use the centering magnets to adjust the dot until it was dead center
7) Power off, brightness back down, reconnect everything, turn back on
8) Adjust brightness to desired level
