Given that XY monitors seem to be as rare as hens teeth, has anyone
considered doing a converter from XY to raster.

Needed: a VGA or greater PC, a card with two D-A converters and a natty bit
of software. I guess most of the software is included in MAME somewhere to
allow the display to be done.
