"What exactly does this board do?"
It is a device to simulate the processor in a game board by wiggling
signals. Chris used a microprocessor to do this. It also can drive the
signals on a game board edge connector, to test things like control
inputs. It was started a while ago, and would be similar in use to
the R.A.T. box.
