Yeah, I didn't want to drain Mark either, so I only asked for 4 myself.

One distributor I found was America II Electronics (in Florida). Sell them for
$6 a piece, minimum order of 25. That seems to be a pretty fair price for
them.
Maybe a few people would be interested in splitting an order?

Also, Paul Taylor sent me this e-mail:

Whoa! I wonder if these linear amplifiers catch fire also! :-)

Anyway, it looks like the 2N6259 is still being manufactured (I thought it was
obsolete and was no longer being produced).
