I've replaced the regulators and two Germanium diodes (NTE109 is apparently a sub for a 1N100, and the local electronics shop had 3 in stock!), and now get the correct voltages at all the testpoints on the A/R and the game boards. I've resoldered all the connector pins, and looked with a magnifying glass for cold solder joints. But the game still does not come up. The start button lights up steadily, not blinking, and nothing happens when I press it. Any suggestion on next steps? I have a logic probe and pulser that I've never used; can somebody point me to a good website, or a good book, that could get me up and started on the use of a logic probe on arcade games? I get one very short tone (so short it is barely noticeable, but I repeated the test a number of times to be sure I wasn't imagining it).
